Baldric

Description/Blazon
All four pieces of the regalia bear a representation of the Louisiana Army National Guard insignias, recalling current affiliation.  Dark blue is the color traditionally associated with the Adjutant General Corps, reflecting the organization under which all bands are formed.  The fleur-de-lis represents the state of Louisiana, home of the 156th Army Band.

Baldric:  On a dark blue field with gold fringe, the Louisiana Army National Guard crest, surrounded by a white scroll, edged gold, inscribed "156TH ARMY BAND" on the top portion and "LOUISIANA's OWN!" on the bottom portion, all in blue letters.  At center, between two drum sticks, a gold fleur-de-lis.  Beneath the pointed fold of the baldric, two campaign streamers; one for IRAQ SOVEREIGNTY and the other for NEW DAWN.  At top and bottom are gold, embroidered elements.
